Mumbai, July, 22 (EPC News): Government sanctioned two highway projects worth over Rs2,330 crore covering Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Kerala for infrastructure work in these states. The project includes development of four laning of 150 km long Chhattisgarh-Orissa Border – Aurang section on National Highway-6 in Chhattisgarh under NHDP. The project anticipated to cost Rs1,548 crore covers districts of Raipur and Mahasamund in Chhattisgarh. The main object is to further improve infrastructure in Chhattisgarh, particularly in industrial area as the project road caters to the major traffic leading to Chhattisgarh- Orissa Border to Aurang. The Cabinet Committee of Infrastructure also gave its nod to the development of four laning of 54 km long Walayar - Vadakkancherry section on National Highway-47 in Kerala worth Rs 785.26 crore.
