Mumbai, May, 20 (EPC News): Reviewing the growth of State and National highways, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal sanctioned projects for construction of seven major roads in the state. The project involves a combined capital cost of Rs 947.30 crore.
The project involves constructions of four lanes and strengthening of seven State Highways including Kotkapura-Muktsar (30 km), Morinda-Kurali-Siswan-Haryana border (30 km), Batala-Mehta-Beas (35.39 km), Kapurthala-Nakodar-Phillaur (65.98 km) and three roads along the canals including Manpur Head to Jagraon-Raikot Road along Abohar Branch (53.50 km), Manpur Head to Barnala-Raikot along Bathinda Branch (47.44 km) and Nidampur-Lehra Road along Ghaggar Branch (49 km).
