Mumbai, May 11 (EPC News): Honeywell launched its new intuition software, Intuition Executive, a vendor neutral system able to connect with all underlying control data sources. The product is expected to deliver enterprise-wide information management, decision support and collaboration tools to assist companies for achieving operational excellence. 

For companies in the process industry the software is expected to increase efficiency and ability to manage and respond to volatile energy costs, complex regulatory changes and real-world safety challenges.  

Powered by Matrikon, Intuition Executive, is also anticipated to solve key industry challenges in operation monitoring, alarm management, asset management, remote operation centers and business process optimizations.

Mumbai, May, 24 (EPC News): Satyam Computers Service Ltd (SCSL) approached the government, seeking de-notification of its special economic zone area at Vishakhapatnam. Transfer of the said land to Indian Navy made the company to adopt such a move. The request for de-notification of the SCSL will be placed before the Board of Approval (BoA), scheduled to meet on May 31. The IT/ITeS SEZ which was notified on June1, 07 over an area of 20 hectares. The proposed land was transferred by Andhra Pradesh government to Navy for establishing a Wireless Experimental Unit. Decision regarding the de-notification of land will be finalized by Board of Approval headed by Commerce Secretary Rahul Khullar.
