Siemens wins an export order worth Rs403 crores

Mumbai, Oct (EPC News): The consortium of Siemens Ltd. and Siemens AD has won an export order worth Rs403 crores from Ezdan Real Estate QSC, Doha, Quatar. The contract value for Siemens Ltd. is Rs342 crores and Siemens AG Rs61 crores.
The project is schedule to be commissioned by January 2011.
The scope of the work for this project includes designing, engineering, installation and commissioning of substations and associated electrical work. Siemens Energy sector will construct a new 220/66 kv and three 66/11 kv substations along with associated networks at Ezdan International Housing Project at Wukhair area, Quatar.
