Punj Lloyd bags Rs947 cr order

New Delhi, Jan (EPC News): Punj Lloyd Ltd has bagged an order worth Rs947 crore from Orissa-based Ind-Barath Energy (Utkal) Ltd. The company will complete the construction and civil works at Ind-Barath Energy thermal project at Jharsuguda in Orissa, Punj Lloyd said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The scope of the work includes mechanical, electrical and construction related works and needs to be completed over the next two years. "(This) will consolidate our position in the balance of plant and EPC space," the Punj Lloyd Director, Mr P.K. Gupta, said.
