KEC bags Rs550 cr order in Abu Dhabi, Algeria

Kolkata, Dec (EPC News): KEC International Ltd, has bagged orders worth Rs550 crore from Algeria and Abu Dhabi, a company release stated.

In Algeria, KEC will undertake five turnkey projects worth Rs474 crore for CEEG, Spa. The work includes the construction of 858 km of transmission lines (400 KV, 200 KV and 60 KV) â€” single and double circuit, which must be completed between 12 and 18 months.

In Abu Dhabi, KEC's Rs76-crore project involves modification and reallocation of existing lines with design and supply of emergency line restoration system (ERS) in Ruwais and Shuweihat for the Abu Dhabi Transport Authority/ Ghantoot Transport & Gen. Cont. Est, to be completed within 12 months.
