HCC to build elevated road corridor for Kolkata municipal corp

Kolkata, Dec (EPC News): Hindustan Construction Company has secured order worth Rs317.92 crore for constructing an elevated road corridor from Park Circus to EM Bypass (near Parama Island) in Kolkata, according to a company release.

HCC will execute the project of Kolkata Municipal Development Authority on a turnkey basis within 30 months.

The scope of the work, as contained in the contract, includes design and construction of the flyover with installation of electrical and other works (including LT feeder pillar boards and steel light poles)./p>

It will be a four-lane, 8.14-km-long flyover. The contract also includes operational and maintenance work for two years from the date of completion of the project.
