Rail Budget estimates 882 mt freight loading in 2009-10

New Delhi, July (EPC News): Mamta Banerjee in her railway budget projects 882 million tonnes of freight loading this fiscal.

The Budget estimates an increase of 49 million tonnes and a 6% increase in the number of passengers. Gross traffic receipts have been estimated at Rs 88,419 crore, which is Rs 8,557 crore more than 2008-09
