India interested in Western Europe – Western China project

Kazakhstan, June (EPC News): Indian companies are interested in implementing the Western Europe - Western China mega-project, the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications reported.

"Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazi Kusainov met with Indian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Ashok Sanjahar, head of the country's delegation, who came with offers of cooperation," the ministry said. The meeting focused on key Indian companies' participation in the project of construction of international road corridor "Western Europe - Western China", the report says. "The participation in this mega-project is confirmed by five international banks and the world's several major companies are considering participation in the construction and reconstruction of separate sections of the corridor," Minister Kusainov said.
