Singapore, Nov (EPC News):  Indonesian carrier Batavia Air commences operations at Singapore Changi Airport tomorrow, 25 November 2009. Batavia will operate daily flights between Singapore and the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Semarang. The eighth new airline to commence operations at Changi Airport this year, Batavia’s commencement of operations signals its confidence in the traffic potential between Singapore and Indonesia.

 

Dubai Metro completes construction; set to open in Feb

United Arab Emirates, Nov (EPC News): The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have reveled through an inspection tour that all construction works on the 19 stations on the Red Line of Dubai Metro have been completed, with electromechanical works in the said stations range from 80 to 97%. RTA has said it is all set in the next phase opening of the stations in February 2010.
