Ambuja plans major investment by 2014

Mumbai, July (EPC News): Ambuja Realty is reviving its plans by investing in Kolkata and is planning to develop a second hospital in Kolkata.

The company is planning projects worth Rs 3,000 - 4,000 crore to be implemented by 2014. Currently, the company is executing projects worth Rs 2,000 crore, which are in the various stages of implementation. The company intends to raise funds by 2010 to part-fund its ongoing projects.

Ambuja has signed a deal with a foreign hotel chain to manage its upcoming five-star hotel in the City Centre II project at Rajarhat in Kolkata.

The 150-room hotel is progressing as per the schedule and is scheduled for operational by January 2010, while the City Centre II project is scheduled for completion by September 2009. The company is also planning to set up a new 300-bed hospital at Mukandapur on E M Bypass. The hospital will be a part of the commercial venture which it is planning on 15 acre at Mukandapur
