New Delhi Jun (EPC News): The integrated terminal 3 at Indira Gandhi International Airport will be opened for passengers in mid-July. T3 will be inaugurated by Prime Minister DrManmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on July 3,three years after the foundation stone was laid in February 2007. The terminal will commence international operations from July 14 and domestic flights from July 30.

New Delhi, Dec (EPC News): The Civil Aviation Minister, Praful Patel has informed Lok Sabha that the ministry that various steps have been taken up to decongest the pressure at major Airports across the country. Airport operators have initiated measures for high speed exit taxi-ways at Delhi and Mumbai airports. A parallel taxi-track has been constructed at Delhi airport by which runway occupancy time has been reduced considerably.

New Delhi, Dec (EPC News): Under the city side development plan, the aviation ministry is considering to develop ten airports namely Kolkata, Hyderabad (Begumpet), Vishakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Indore, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Guwahati and Jaipur, said Minister of Civil Aviation, Praful Patel in Lok Sabha, Thurdsday.
